Walk with a Doc is a walking program for everyone interested in taking steps for a healthier lifestyle. You’ll take a few minutes to learn about a current health topic from a healthcare professional, then spend the rest of the hour enjoying a healthy walk and fun conversation. It’s a great way to get out, get active, and enjoy all the benefits that come from walking. Walk your own pace and distance.

UNLV Health is committed to bettering the community, and that’s why we invite you to join us on the second Saturday of every month for Walk with a Doc! Prior to the walk, one of the physicians from UNLV Health will present an educational health topic to all in attendance. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the presenter, as well as other UNLV Health and Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine faculty and staff. Following the presentation, lace up your sneakers and join us for a walk around the park’s trail. Afterwards, we will provide snacks, drinks, and fun giveaways. This is a great way to not only get active, but to meet and interact with other members of the community.
