Walking is one of the best things you can do for both your physical and mental health! At each event, you’ll have the opportunity to walk at a pace and distance that you’re comfortable with.

LEARN ABOUT HEALTH

Each event starts with a brief discussion on a health topic from a local physician, healthcare provider, or medical student. You’ll also have the opportunity to chat with the leader and ask questions during the walk.

MEET NEW PEOPLE

Research shows that socializing with others is extremely important for our health. Bring a friend or meet a new friend at the walks.

About Dr. Patterson:

Ashley Patterson, MD is a general pediatrician with a solo practice called Phoenix Medical Center. Her practice is located in the Springwoods Village St. Luke’s building, and will be celebrating 2 years in January. Dr. Patterson is passionate about preventive care and general health and wellness. She decided to join the Walk With a Doc program after hearing a talk about the important connection between nature and our wellness. She is happy to be able to informally speak with families and children about a variety of health topics, get in some steps, and connect with the beautiful backdrop nature provides for us at City Place.
