Join us for Walk with a Doc – Tulane Chapter. This is a free, inclusive walking program designed to bring together community members, healthcare professionals, and students for movement, conversation, and health education. Each walk is led by a local physician or medical student and is open to people of all ages and abilities.

Take a Step Toward Better Health at Walk with a Doc

WALK
Walking is one of the most accessible ways to improve both physical and mental health. Our walks are low-barrier and participant-paced – whether you’re out for a stroll or a brisk walk, you’re welcome.

LEARN ABOUT HEALTH
Each event begins with a short, engaging health talk from a local healthcare provider or medical student. Topics range from heart health and nutrition to mental wellness and medication safety. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and continue the conversation during the walk.

MEET NEW PEOPLE
WWAD Tulane is more than a walk – it’s a chance to connect. Whether you’re bringing a friend or meeting someone new, we believe community connection is a vital part of well-being.
We’re proud to launch this chapter with support from Tulane University School of Medicine and local contributors. We hope to see you at our next walk!
