About Walk with a Doc:
Walk with a Doc (WWAD) is a nonprofit founded in 2005 in Central Ohio by cardiologist David Sabgir. What began as a single community walk in Westerville has grown to more than 700 “chapters” around the world. By bringing healthcare providers into local parks for group walks, the program creates meaningful opportunities to promote health beyond the clinic walls. Walk with a Doc helps make movement, health education, social connection, and time in nature accessible to all.

We would love to have you lead an upcoming walk! Walks can be led by any licensed healthcare provider and require just one hour of your time. What to expect:
- Sign up for a walk below (if this is your 1st walk, we’ll mail you a t-shirt)
- Arrive at the designated park at the scheduled time.
- Share a brief 5–8 minute talk on a health topic. You can choose a topic from our resource library, or come up with your own.
- Walk and connect with participants for the remainder of the hour.
