Walk with a Doc is a community walking program led by local MaineHealth MidCoast Parkview Providers. At each event, you’ll have the opportunity to take a walk at your own pace, learn about a health topic, and meet new people. Events are free and all are welcome!
Walks are a chance to have fun, get some exercise, socialize and stay motivated to meet your health goals.

Walking is one of the best things you can do for both your physical and mental health! At each event, you’ll have the opportunity to walk at a pace and distance that you’re comfortable with.
LEARN ABOUT HEALTH
Each event starts with a brief discussion on a health topic from a local physician, healthcare provider, or medical student. You’ll also have the opportunity to chat with the leader and ask questions during the walk.
MEET NEW PEOPLE
Research shows that socializing with others is extremely important for our health. Bring a friend or meet a new friend at the walks.
