President: Leela Rangachar
Leela Rangachar is a 2nd-year medical student at Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education/CUNY School of Medicine. She is passionate about lifestyle medicine and advocating for health equity. Leela has been involved in Walk with a Future Doc for 3 years. She loves leading walks in the NYC community and learns a lot about the needs of her fellow walkers in the process. Leela is the current President of the Walk with a Future Doc Advisory Board.

Vice President: Emily Grimes
Emily Grimes is a second-year medical student at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, PA, interested in becoming a primary care physician. Originally from Summertown, TN, she attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville for her undergraduate education. This is her second year of involvement with GCSOM’s chapter of Walk with a Future Doc, and she looks forward to serving as the Vice President of the WWAFD Advisory Board!

Communications Director: Genevieve Saliuk
Genevieve is an incoming third-year medical student at the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine. Genevieve dreams to help her future patients improve all areas of their lives through the pillars of lifestyle medicine. She is super excited for her role as Communications Director to spread this powerful message to as many future physicians and other healthcare providers as possible.

Education Director: Veronica Jierong Zheng
Veronica is a second-year medical student at the Feinberg School of Medicine originally from Plano, Texas. She graduated from Rice University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. When she’s not studying or walking, Veronica enjoys obsessing over her houseplants, running, baking macarons, singing, and reading. She is looking forward to serving as Education Director on the WWAFD advisory board!
Outreach Director: Alan Gregory Soetikno
Alan is a current medical student in the Feinberg Class of 2024. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and completed an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Economics, and Mathematics​ at Washington University in St. Louis. After graduating from college, Alan worked as a data scientist and product manager at Amazon, where he focused on developing anti-counterfeit software. In his free time, Alan enjoys cooking, running, and traveling.
