Why did you decide to pursue a career in nutrition?

I have always been interested in food and how it affects our bodies and health. I also wanted to work in a field where I could help people live better lives.

What is your overall philosophy toward nutrition and a healthy lifestyle?

Small changes add up. We’re not going to change a lifetime of eating habits in a week, so let’s take it one baby step at a time.

What are your top 3 bits of health advice?

1) Set small goals and make them habits.
2) Celebrate your successes. Take note of the positive changes you notice.
3) No one is perfect. If you have a bad day, brush it off and start again.

What is your favorite recipe?

Two of my favorite recipes are vegetarian black bean chili and falafel cakes.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

I love working with people to help them achieve better health. I enjoy building relationships with them and celebrating their wins and helping them pick themselves up when they get off track.
