Walking is one of the best things you can do for both your physical and mental health! At each event, you’ll have the opportunity to walk at a pace and distance that you’re comfortable with.

LEARN ABOUT HEALTH
Each event starts with a brief discussion on a health topic from a local physician, healthcare provider, or medical student. You’ll also have the opportunity to chat with the leader and ask questions during the walk.

MEET NEW PEOPLE
Research shows that socializing with others is extremely important for our health. Bring a friend or meet a new friend at the walks.
About Dr. Simran:
Hi, I’m Dr. Simran Malhotra—a lifestyle medicine physician, certified health coach, and founder of Wellness by LifestyleMD. After years of working as a palliative care doctor and navigating my own health journey as a BRCA1 previvor, I’ve seen firsthand how small, consistent steps can transform your health (and your life)!
My mission is simple: to empower people, especially busy moms, to take charge of their health and create a legacy of wellness for their families. Through partnering with initiatives like Walk with a Doc, I combine my medical expertise with lived experience to make health accessible, actionable, and inspiring. These walks are my way of bringing our community together—because your health is too important to walk alone.
