Walk with a Doc is a walking group for everyone who is interested in taking steps to improve their lifestyle. Walking has great benefits to our health and so what better way to spend an afternoon than walking, talking and learning.
So why not join us for Walk with a Doc – it’s a free community walking program! Each event is led by a local GP and is open to people of all ages and abilities. The program allows you to safely take a walk, learn about current health topics, and meet new people.

Walking is one of the best things you can do for both your physical and mental health! At each event, you’ll have the opportunity to walk at a pace and distance that you’re comfortable with.

LEARN ABOUT HEALTH
Each event starts with a brief discussion on a health topic from a local physician, healthcare provider, or medical student. You’ll also have the opportunity to chat with the leader and ask questions during the walk.

MEET NEW PEOPLE
Research shows that socializing with others is extremely important for our health. Bring a friend or meet a new friend at the walks.
