Join us for Walk with a Doc — a free community walking program focused on movement, connection, and whole-body health. Each walk is led by a local healthcare provider and is open to people of all ages and abilities. Together, we create a safe, welcoming space to move our bodies, learn about health, and connect with others. We hope you’ll join us at our next walk.

Take a Step Toward Better Health at Walk with a Doc

WALK
Walking is one of the most powerful (and underrated) tools for musculoskeletal health and emotional well-being. Regular walking supports joint mobility, posture, balance, and circulation, while gently strengthening muscles and reducing stiffness and pain. Just as importantly, walking helps regulate stress, improve mood, and support mental clarity. At each event, you’re encouraged to walk at a pace and distance that feels comfortable for your body.

LEARN ABOUT HEALTH
Each event begins with a brief, approachable discussion led by a local physician, healthcare provider, or medical student, often focusing on movement, pain prevention, and everyday ways to support your body and nervous system. You’re welcome to ask questions and continue the conversation during the walk.

MEET NEW PEOPLE
Connection matters. Walking alongside others fosters a sense of community and belonging, which plays a key role in emotional resilience and overall health. Bring a friend or come on your own — many people meet new friends along the way.
