That’s right, 300 new Walks means 1 million extra years of

Good morning! How are you today?
Things are beautiful here in Walk Land.
While we don’t share the same sunsets as Wakanda, we do share the same letters.
We are grateful that you are taking a moment out of your day to be with us.
It has been an especially fun week at World HQ.
Over 250 of you checked out Dr. Wee’s inspiring visit.
On Wednesday night, we watched our friends at Girl Trek (1:20 mark) reframe what is possible in the walking world. I’ve had the honor of spending some time with Morgan and she, along with her team, are an absolute gift to this country.
Dr. Eric Smitneek leads Walk with a Doc (to School) and sent this pic below from his troop. One of these little ones shared,
“My legs are frozen, but I am still happy to be walking”
And my goodness, there are a lot of chapters starting in spring.
A special thank you to Franciscan Health for hosting 8 (eight!) chapters in Indiana.
I met Dr. Topper in Columbus a couple years ago, dude said he wanted to get this done, he wasn’t kidding.
We had a brilliant group of Ohio State undergrad students create this animated video that talks about the history, growth, and mission of
Walk with a Doc.
Take a look and share with your friends!
Walk with a Doc Intro
Walk with a Doc in Klamath Falls, Oregon has been going strong since 2013. The Walk has been spearheaded by Dr. Brock Trejo, Marla Ingram, Family Medicine residents at Cascades East, Sky Lakes Medical Center, and of course, their resilient group of 20-30 walkers who attend rain, shine, or snow! Dr. Trejo says, “If I could only hand out one script, walking would be it. It IS the Panacea. To quote Ferris Bueller, “It is SO choice’.
