Kylie Earhart, Medical Student

We’re thrilled to welcome a new Walk with a Future Doc chapter in Farmington, New Mexico, led by medical students from the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine. The program was started by Kylie Earhart, a medical student whose journey with Walk with a Doc began years ago as a volunteer in Wyoming. Kylie’s experiences leading warmups, connecting with walkers, and seeing the power of community movement helped shape her path toward medicine and her passion for preventive health.

Thanks to support from our Scholarship Fund, Kylie was able to launch the WWAFD program in Farmington, bringing a monthly walking opportunity to the community. “The walks have been very rewarding,” says Kylie. “Our small but growing group loves the camaraderie, and our providers have been so enthusiastic about sharing health tips with the community.”

Farmington’s community spirit and need for accessible health resources make this chapter especially important, and Kylie is working hard to reach local Native American communities and older adults who may benefit most.

We’re so proud to support students like Kylie who bring movement, education, and connection to rural and underserved communities.
