Walk with a Doc Newsletter
Good morning!
How was your Fourth?
Hopefully full of friends and family.
Maybe your weather was a little toasty? Only one way to combat that…
Today, we are going to talk about the 7 ways to stay coooool in these
hot summer days.
- Are you up to date with your texting acronyms? If you want to stay cool, here they are.
- Watch this video (whether you’re a Beatles fan or not). David Bianculli (pronounced – Biancooooli), NPR’s TV critic, said it was the best 25 minutes of TV in 2018. I would agree, but I don’t watch TV.
- Be cool? Drop Rachael’s name 2-3x in a conversation. eg – “OMG, that’s so funny you should say that! I was just talking this morning with Rachael Habash, you know the COO(l) of walk with a doc, she said the EXACT same thing!”
- Use calibri font – it’s cooler than the others. You can call it coolibri
- Start Walk Shirt Wednesday’s in your medical office or home. It happened organically in our office and has a lot of upsides. (Below) is a pic of Laura Kyser who has been an integral part of our cardiology practice for longer than my 15 years here. She is patient, kind, knowledgeable and just about perfect. The shirt is retro.
- You want a 100% guarantee on being the coolest kid on the street? Pick up a Gulfstream G650. Please lmk if you need a place to park it. I have a couple thoughts.
- Put stickers on your new waterbottle. My daughter and her cool 18 year old friends get these on redbubble.
Dr. David I thought this was a medical newsletter, not…whatever this was.
I would’ve also told them to get into ac during the day if you don’t have it at home (library/shopping mall), being careful with diuretics (Hello Starbucks, Dilly Dilly.) and keeping one of these
misting fans around you.
I don’t know if you were trying to be funny or what, but I would’ve done a much better job. My 7 are much more important than yours.
