This week there are going to be thousands of volunteer nurses, community workers, and doctors waking up early on their day off, and going to a park to lead/support/create their Walk with a Doc.
Solid boots on the ground, genuine smiles on their faces, and many with a hot cup of coffee in their right hand. These great people have already had a full week, like you, a very FULL week, but they realize something.
We need action.
Talking about it is not getting it done in our fight against diabetes, cancer, heart disease, arthritis, depression, dementia – you name it.
Now, walking? That gets it done.
Connecting? That gets it done.
Supporting each other in person? Gets it done.
This week, thousands of great people are coming together.
Fantastic people in parks all around the world.
Like last week, and the week before that, they’re coming together.
They are acting!
Thank you for making Walk with a Doc possible.
