Walk with a Doc Newsletter
Good morning! It’s raining happy and some sad this week. Today is Jessica’s (
Jessica@walkwithadoc.org) last day in our World HQ. We’re happy because she has been an awesome presence for 3 and a half years and she’s headed off to a beautiful land with her supercool newlywed husband, Luke.
We’re sad because. Well, sad because she has a scary level of wisdom. She has been so great to all of us at HQ and all our family outside of HQ that have interacted with her over the years. She is rockstar funny and ugh, this kind of sucks. But…we are extremely fortunate to retain many of her talents as she heads off to this foreign land. We will just miss having this laid back, brilliant rock climber brightening our day. Here’s the 2nd half of the Alphabet – dedicated to our sister.
North Carolina, Cornelius to be specific. Jessica’s new home.
Google map it – it’s so pretty.
Outside and Oliver (Jessica Agricola’s maiden name). Outside is where Jessica likes to hang, literally. For those who don’t know, J goes rock climbing quite a bi
Quiet but …..insightful, dynamic, powerful thinker. OSUM3 with the assist.
The Red – Where Jessica and Luke go to climb. They eat pizza for a dollar, live in tents (3 dollars/person) with their friends and join nature. The Red is one of the 3 best climbing places in the world.
Social Media. If you’ve seen it on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Insta – JO’s had a had in it. She’s our millennial social supermaster.
Corvid Technologies in Mooresville, NC. Luke’s first employer out of school. Luke just defended his Master’s thesis in aeronautical engineering. Smart dude.
Umbrellas. Jessica doesn’t use them. She likes the rain.
Veggie Burger at
North Star. Jessica said her favorite food is North Star. It’s a restaurant, not a food JO, but we agree. p.s. If/when you (not only Jessica, you) come to Columbus to see us, slam dunk – this is where we should go. Not a sponsor.
Jessica loves Winnie the Pooh. This quote from Pooh seems appropriate for today.
“Love is taking a few steps backward maybe even more…to give way to the happiness of the person you love.”
We love you, Jess.
Xerostomia. Use it in a sentence. Jessica does not have xerostomia.
Y are you leaving us JO? Jk – 250+ days of sun, supercool hubby, Lake Norman – we get it.
That’s Jessica (and Bryan).
