Sky diving, India and GirlTrek

Posted on 05/26/201708/25/2017 by Walk with a Doc HQ

Good morning! We encourage you all to practice mindfulness and enjoy every moment at work today. I say this because most of you won’t be allowed to come back until Tuesday. I’m sorry, did you just ask why there was no newsletter last week?

No David, honestly I didn’t notice.

Glad you asked! Rachael and I were honored to be in NJ learning strategic communications from our generous host, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Spitfire Strategies.

David, I didn’t ask.

It was drinking from a firehouse, and it was incredible. We had no worries as Jessica and Bryan were holding down the shop. Bryan? Yep, we introduce our new intern, Bryan Romey below. Good kid.

While we were in NJ, our friends from GirlTrek, Morgan and Vanessa’s TED Talk video was released. Yeah, we know Morgan, she’s our buddy. Morgan and Vanessa are going to change the world.

If you like Ted Talks, this is one of our favorite podcasts.

While we were in NJ, people were talking about these two commercials. We love them both.

Our intern, Bryan, is off to a great start. Here are some essentials:
  • Bryan Romey
  • From Elida, OH
  • Just graduated from Ohio State with a BS in Health Sciences and a business minor
  • Favorite activity is basketball, but I also like playing golf, tennis, and racquetball, snow/water skiing and going for runs (and walks!)
  • Went skydiving once…once was enough.

When you call the Walk Office you are going to talk with either (a) Jessica, (b) Rachael, (c) Bryan or (d) David – if you get Bryan or me, please understand we are new and may need to check on somethings.

Did you hear about the big news this week with dark chocolate and atrial fibrillation? #onemorereason You know what really causes atrial fibrillation? This!

Welcome to the Family!!!!

See what happens when Jessica and Bryan are left in charge…It’s raining Walk Chapters
