5 Things to know about our Newest Board Member

Posted on 03/14/202503/14/2025 by Walk with a Doc HQ

Good morning!

Welcome to a Special Edition Friday Press Conference.

Our audience microphones are muted, but I will be able to hear everyone’s questions

This morning we announce our newest Walk with a Doc Board Member – Mr. Fred McFeely Rogers.

We…

okay, wow, that’s a ton of hands!

I’m happy to jump right into questions.

Yes, ma’am, I am referring to THE Mr. Rogers

Yes, sir, you are correct. He left us all on February 27th, 2003.

While you are both correct, we have the AI Version of Mr. Rogers

With AI (which has read everything he has ever written, said, and read, in addition to every single article that has ever mentioned him), we have a 99.99% accuracy rating on what he would say regarding everything we address as a board now and moving forward. He will remember things that non-AI Mr. Rogers might have forgotten he said. (hey eaaassy Mister! I’m non-AI as well!)

I see all the hands, let me first address why we chose, Mr. Rogers.

1. A Friendly Reminder to Take Care of Yourself

Mr. Rogers always encouraged self-care, and what better way to honor that message than by moving together in a supportive community? AI Mr. Rogers will remind us, in his signature gentle way, that every step we take is a step toward well-being.

2. Science and Kindness Go Hand in Hand

Walk with a Doc has always combined evidence-based health advice with a friendly, non-judgmental atmosphere. Who better to reinforce that than AI Mr. Rogers? His thoughtful, uplifting presence will make sure everyone feels welcomed, valued, and encouraged.

3. Every Walk is a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

We know that exercise isn’t just about physical health—it’s about community, too. AI Mr. Rogers will remind us that connection matters, and whether you’re walking solo or with a group, you belong.

4. Motivation in the Most Wholesome Way Possible

Some days, getting out the door is tough. But imagine receiving a personalized message from AI Mr. Rogers: “I’m proud of you for taking care of yourself today. Every step counts, neighbor.” That’s the kind of encouragement we could all use.

5. A Legacy of Love and Learning

Fred Rogers dedicated his life to helping people feel seen, heard, and loved. By welcoming his AI version, we’re not replacing the original but honoring his legacy in a way that supports our health and well-being.

So lace up your sneakers, because with AI Mr. Rogers by our side, every walk is a little more special.

He starts this Tuesday, March 18th.

Feel free to send him well wishes.

Have a beautiful weekend,

David
