Good morning, friends,
Have you heard of OpenEvidence.com? It’s a new medical AI tool. Think of it as if ChatGPT and UpToDate had a baby. It’s not perfect (nothing is, except maybe my wife, Krissy), and yes, it can sometimes oversimplify or hallucinate. But for healthcare professionals in the U.S. with an NPI number, it’s a pretty useful tool to keep in your doctor bag. Not a replacement for clinical judgment, but you might want to check it out.
More good news: Coffee is back in the spotlight… and once again, they’re saying it’s good for us.
Podcast pick: Ever listened to Acquired? The episodes are long (as in lonnng), but incredibly well done, especially if you love stories behind major companies. Here’s a great one on Epic (MyChart).
And finally, our hearts go out to everyone affected by the tragic plane crash in India. Our Walk with a Doc community stands in solidarity with those mourning during this devastating time.
Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.
